Important Information

We are looking forward to holding another series of sales and welcoming regular and new customers.

We will be operating from a temporary saleroom, details and directions below.

Our primary aim is to protect all customers and our staff and to make the experience of being back in the saleroom as enjoyable as possible.

We are monitoring closely the rapidly changing government guidelines but we do hope to welcome viewers in the sale room over an extended viewing period and we may also be able to allow some bidders to attend the sale in person.

Hand Sanitiser stations will be set up around the auction room for customer use and we would ask that all visitors use the hand sanitiser as they enter the building.

Everybody attending will be required to register their details for track and trace purposes, this is a legal requirement. These details will be retained for 21 days.

In accordance with the latest guidelines face masks must be worn when attending the sale room, please do not remove these while in the building. If you are feeling unwell, we respectfully ask you not to enter the Auction Room.

As we have approx. 10,000 sq ft of floor space we envisage no problem with regard to social distancing, but numbers will be restricted and this may, at busy times, lead to queuing for viewing. We have increased the usual viewing times to try to mitigate this.

We anticipate that the cabinet and jewellery area will be busy. Cabinet goods and jewellery will be viewable through glass and on a ticketed queuing basis to avoid crowding around the cabinet area.

At busy times we respectfully request that you try to limit your time at the cabinet to 10 minutes and once you have viewed the lots in the cabinet area that you are interested in you move away from the area.

We hope to be able to allow a limited number of pre registered buyers to attend the sales. For the safety of all concerned these numbers will be strictly limited and we recommend that you register asap.

We will be operating with a skeleton staff on sale day so the wait to pay may be a little longer than usual and our portering services will be limited.

If you are successful online, goods must be cleared from the sale room within 7 days and we ask that you ensure that you bring with you any assistance that you may need to load furniture and bulky items.

Please contact us to advise collection arrangements so that we can ensure that we are on site.

We would remind you that all goods are left in the saleroom following the auctions sales at the risk of the purchaser and it would be prudent to ensure that you have appropriate insurance in place.

We are required to vacate this temporary venue following the sales and goods not collected within 7 days will be transported to a storage facility and the cost of haulage and ongoing storage will be charged to the purchaser.
