After our fantastic series of auction sales that took place earlier this year we have received some lovely feedback on how well managed and organised these events were. One client went wrote us a lovely note which he has allowed us to share.
Although I have said previously how exceptional I thought the management of this sale was, I thought I might just send a quick email to reinforce it, and hopefully to pass my thoughts on to anyone I have missed. I have been to a good many vintage sales over the years, generally by firms who specialise in this type of auction, but this has to be one of the best executed ever.
To manage an auction with so many lots with one auctioneer starting at the first lot and running through to the end is no mean feat. Everyone that I have dealt with has been so pleasant and helpful, the gentleman on the gate, the ladies in administration, the porters and of course yourself that it made a very pleasant day indeed.
I was particularly impressed with the fact that the auctioneer took the time to make absolutely sure that the online bidders and the people attending had every chance to bid before the hammer came down, and it was the first time that I have not had to worry about my goods vanishing before I collected them. The security for sold items it first rate, and the porter who helped me load was most helpful.
