Colwall Ale House Festival 2018

John Goodwin are delighted to announce that we have sponsored the annual Colwall Ale House Festival taking place from the 29th June to the 8th July 2018. Colwall Ale House Festival The Festival offers the most amazing week of events for Colwall residents and guests - take a look at what’s on offer.

Friday 29th June – come and enjoy a fabulous Festival Flicks in the Sticks, 7.30pm Colwall Village Hall. Featuring the Oscar-winning 'Darkest Hour', tickets £5 on the door. All proceeds go to the Festival.

Saturday 30th June – it’s Festival Day. Fun for all the family. St James Church, Mill Lane, Colwall

Saturday 30th June – A Summer Serenade with Colwall Community Choir and Colwall Clarinet Ensemble, Colwall Village Hall, 7.30pm. Tickets £8.00 to include refreshments. Tickets on the door or via John Goodwin Estate Agent. School children free.

Sunday 1st July – a singing and walking morning. 'The Malvern Hills are Alive ... Hiking and Singing with innovative choral coach Doug Watts. 11am to 3pm, meet at the Ale House, price £10.00 Note: sensible shoes and bring water and something to eat to keep you going. Places limited to 25 people.

Sunday 1st July – a fun-filled afternoon with Colwall Players. The Great British Bump Off - Fun and intrigue in the Festival Marquee, 3pm, tickets £8 to include cream tea.

Monday 2nd July – Colwall Wings WI hold a special meeting in the Festival Marquee, welcoming Helen Stace of Colwall Orchard Group who’s talking to us about apples and pears . . . ‘From Little Pips ‘. . . It promises to be a wonderful event. Guests welcome.

Monday 2nd July – a true gardening experience. Colwall Horticultural Society hosting their monthly meeting at Colwall Village Hall, 7.30pm. ‘Pin me to the wall and do what you like to me’! Tickets £5 non-members.

Wednesday 4th July - Colwall Park Hotel, Celebratory Summer BBQ. "Join us from 6.30pm for a barbecue party in our gardens. www.colwall.co.uk/01684 540000. We look forward to welcoming you."

Thursday 5th July – do you own a bike? Then join us for a Beer, Cycle and Curry evening. A wonderful way to enjoy a summer’s evening. Meet at the Ale House at 7pm for cycling or 9pm if curry only. Price £10.

Saturday 7th July – the Colwall Orchard Group are hosting the most wonderful day for all the family "All About Orchards, what's lurking in and around Colwall Village Garden?"

Saturday 7th July – our local celebrity/antiques expert Ben Cooper will be giving a talk at the Ale House in the evening. Tales from the antiques trail. Tickets £10.00 to include refreshment.

Sunday 8th July – 10am St James Church Festival Family Service.
